Eindhoven resident threatens man with knife

A 31-year-old resident was apprehended on the Montgomerylaan early this morning. The man planned to steal steal money and threatened with a knife.

The police received a call about a fight near the Kruisstraat. Upon investigation, officers found three men, including the suspect. He immediately ran off, but was detained after a short pursuit.
The man snatched money out of the hands of a 52-year-old resident who came past on his bike. The victim wanted to give the money to an acquaintance.
Those affected chased the thief, but were then threatened with a knife. The police later arrested the suspect. He is being held for further investigation.
