KUALA LUMPUR – The Malaysian police arrested five suspects involved in the abduction of 12-year-old Nayati Moodliar from Son en Breugel. The suspects are four men and a woman, the police reports.

The police are still searching for two more alleged kidnappers. The Malaysian police alerted Interpol that one of them most likely fled to Europe.
Nayati was dragged into a car in front of the international school in Kuala Lumpur at the end of April. He was found at a highway rest stop a few days later. According to the police a ransom was paid to the kidnappers.
The family is living in Malaysia temporarily because of father Sham Moodliar’s job. The boy claimed to be in good health after the abduction.
The suspects were arrested in Perak and Kuala Lumpur, where the police also recovered part of the ransom.
