EINDHOVEN – New students beginning their higher education in Eindhoven for coming academic year will experience a joined orientation.
Fontys, TU / e and Design Academy will join forces to organize orientation days on the 23rd and 24th of August. This all new joint orientation will be called LichtIn 2012.The three schools combined, expect to welcome over 6000 freshmen. LichtIn (Light intensity) will thus become one of the largest orientation days for students in the Netherlands.By leading students through various routes along highlights in the city, new students will become acquainted with Eindhoven, which they will soon be calling their new home. Several student organizations, including those involving culture and sport, will provide fun activities in various squares of the city.Thursday, August 23rd has been declared Day of the Student, culminating with an eventful party. Friday morning students will begin the last hours of their orientation with a wake up brunch at the Student Sports Centrum.
