Coach Louis van Gaal has called for the first time PSV players Jeffrey Bruma and Karim Rekik for the Netherlands national football team, ‘Oranje’. Georginio Wijnaldum is also included again.
If the players reach the final selections, it would mean a debut for Rekik. Bruma has already played in four games for the Dutch national team. Wijnaldum also played for the national team two weeks ago against Portugal.It is basically first a preselection. The final selection will be announced next Friday in Zeist. ‘Oranje’ will play on Friday, 6 September, in Tallinn against Estonia. Four days later, the away match against Andorra will follow.
