“Out with Parents” on Stratumseind

Would you like to know what your teenagers might encounter when they go out in Eindhoven? Then please join the International School on a special event as part of the ISE Drugs Awareness program.

The goal of this event is to inform parents of teenagers, giving them insight into the experiences their teenager might encounter while going out on “Stratumseind”. This evening is especially important for the international parents who may be less aware of Dutch laws, the risks involved and the availability of drugs in The Netherlands.

Parents will be welcomed by the city councilor, there will be a short introduction and you will then visit Stratumseind in small groups, each accompanied by a member of the city council. Parents will visit three bars and the police station, and will hear presentations on the topics drugs, alcohol and teenagers, the proactive working method, and safety on Stratumseind.

The evening will take place this year on Friday, 19 April at 18.45 hrs. You will meet at the youth center Dynamo (Catharinaplein 21, Eindhoven) where the tour will begin. The event will be given in English. All parents are welcome to join.
