The national leader of the VVD, Klaas Dijkhoff, visited the Eindhoven region today (Wednesday).
Mayor Jorritsma caught him up on what the high-tech Brainport region has to offer. He took a look behind the scenes at computer chip machine manufacturer, ASML, the largest employer in the region.
After that, he visited the High Tech Campus, where he updated about the innovations at the Holst Centre and Solliance. Furthermore, TU/e students gave a presentation about their drone, Blue Jay.
Finally, Dijkhoff got a taste of the innovations in the field of autonomous driving at the Automotive Campus in Helmond.
