Trash bags are piling up around the city after Cure fell behind in waste collection following last week’s inclement weather.
Piles of bags containing household waste were seen on Trudoplein, Gerardusplein, and in the Blixembosch area.
Cure says it is hard at work clearing the backlog, but some local roads are still too dangerous for its trucks to access.
“We are deploying extra staff to get the job done”, a spokesperson said.
