The cash registers will remain empty from now on, at the IKEA on the Ekkersrijt industrial estate. The furniture department store no longer accepts cash.
Visitors can only pay by debit card at IKEA. According to the store, that means shorter queues and employees have more time to help customers.
IKEA Eindhoven is the second store in the chain that completely switches to digital payment.
