Eindhoven police commissioner suspected of fraud and corruption

Commissioner Peter van den E. from Eindhoven will be put on trial because he is suspected of having been bribed.

That reports the NRC. The Openbaar Ministerie (Public Prosecution Service) has been conducting a three-year investigation into the police officer who would have been bribed by befriended entrepreneur Otto V. He must come to court as well.

The Public Prosecutor suspects the police commissioner of forgery and laundering of criminal money. On 20 May he was summoned to appear in court in Zwolle.
