Spate of car break-ins in one night

Last night (Thursday), thieves broke into no fewer than nine cars in a single parking garage. This parking facility is located in Eindhoven’s city centre.

It is that time of year again for Christmas get-togethers and koopavonden. Unfortunately, the criminals know this too. The Eindhoven police are, therefore, asking people to be careful.

They are urging people not to leave anything in their cars. “Make sure to leave your trunk cover up, so that potential thieves can see there is nothing worth stealing in the car”, reads a post on their Facebook page.

If you see suspicious people or vehicles around the parking garages, call 112 immediately.
