Woensel Lourdes Church inhabited by squatters

There are squatters in the Lourdes Church on the Vlokhovenseweg in Woensel North.

At the St. Peter’s Chair parish, they are sick of it. It has already been reported to the police, but they say they can not put people out just like that. It is feared for the interior of the church. And thus the Board of the Parish starts interim measures. The position with regard to injunctions is about two weeks.

“Imagine you are going on vacation, and when you come back after three weeks, there is someone else in your house. That is the situation. We do have a problem”, Board Member Leo van Uffelen says to the Eindhovens Dagblad (Eindhoven Daily Newspaper). The church is locked. People of the parish can’t enter.

At least five squatters would now be in the Onze-Lieve-Vrouw van Lourdes Church.
