No trains between Eindhoven and Helmond

Due to an accident, no trains are running between Eindhoven and Helmond at the moment.

A person was hit by a train near Nuenen. A trauma helicopter flew to the scene.

NS informs there are special buses running to ensure travelers can reach their destination:

  • Special buses run directly between Eindhoven and Helmond;
  • Special stop-buses run between Helmond Brandevoort, Helmond ‘t Hout, Helmond and Helmond Brouwhuis.

NS expects train-traffic to resume around 15:00. However, it may take some time for trains to run on schedule again. More information on the NS website; tab journey planner and actual situation.

From Thursday 12th July till Sunday 15th July, NS has also planned rail-maintenance work between Eindhoven and Venlo. Buses will run between these cities.
