TU/e-student’s candy-sorting machine goes viral

It’s not the first, but it is the fastest. A video of a candy sorting machine created by TU/e-student Willem Pennings is going viral, with over 200.000 views.

In a record time of two to three minutes, Pennings’ machine can sort a 300g bag of M&M’s or Skittles by color. 19-year-old Pennings planned, designed, and built the machine in a solo project.
