CDA: Parking spaces for the disabled at the City Hall

Disabled parking spaces must be provided at the City Hall and the opposition party – the CDA – calls on the Mayor and councilors to do so.

Because the parking garage is underground at the Stadshuisplein, it is not a viable option for disabled visitors, so many are dropped off at the front door. But for that, permits are rarely given, says the CDA. Therefore, drivers of the disabled have to drop them off and then drive around the block. Subsequently, there is no guidance for the disabled.

To avoid these problems, the CDA thinks there should be short term parking at the City Hall.
