Thick smoke at Theresia care home

Emergency services were called to Vitalis Theresia care home in Eindhoven today following reports of thick smoke in an apartment unit.

A pan left on a stove was found to have caused the smoke. One resident was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene, but did not have to go to hospital.

A reported five fires have broken out at Vitalis locations in a little over a year.
