Province in talks for a sustainable Brabant

A fully sustainable Brabant – free of fossil fuels such as oil and coal – is the challenge faced by provincial director Spierings, residents, and local businesses at a meeting today in Strijp-R.

The discussion this afternoon is part of a campaign to make Brabant energy-neutral by 2050. To facilitate campaign plans, energy deputy Spierings will organise talks with the province and involved organisations.

The first session will take place in Eindhoven, on the site of designer Piet Hein Eek’s studio. The topic of the meeting is Smart and Green Mobility.

Future meetings are planned in Rosmalen and Bergen op Zoom.
