PSV Winter Time Challenge raises more than 20,000 Euros

The PSV Winter Time Challenge raised more than 20,000 Euros for Spieren for Spieren (supporting research into neuromuscular diseases in children) in the Philips Stadium on Saturday night.

Around 75 participants completed a challenging course, by bike or on foot, through the Philips Stadium to raise money for the Spieren voor Spieren organisation, PSV’s social partner.

The Winter Time Challenge takes place during the hour that heralds the start of winter time (02:00) when the clocks go back. ‘This is the only moment in the year that you can win time’, explains the organisation. ‘Win time to achieve the treatment and cure of neuromuscular disease in children’.

Among the participants were thirteen players from PSV Ladies and Toon Gerbrands. At the end of the Winter Time Challenge, all the participants were given a medal by Children’s Ambassador Jacky de Jong.
