Contactless payment at ‘Inwonersplein’ in Eindhoven

Eindhoven residents going to the ‘Inwonersplein’ (People’s Square), will soon be able to make contactless payments when picking up their driver’s licenses or passports at the City Hall.

The ATMs will be replaced with new models, allowing visitors to pay small amounts without entering a PIN.

Disabled visitors will be provided with mobile devices. The municipality is considering whether payment with smartphones will be possible in the near future as well.
