‘State of seriously injured man elevator accident TU/e stable’

The condition of the second man who got seriously injured in an elevator accident on the grounds of the TU/e is stable. This reports the main contractor to Studio040. He is out of life danger, but will still be in coma for three days. The man was at work at the elevator when he fell down from the seventh floor.

The accident happened on Friday afternoon. Two construction workers were working on the building, which is converted into a residential tower. The other man lost his life in the accident.

The second construction worker will be held in coma by the doctors to prevent more damage. He has a spinal cord injury, but also a pneumothorax, broken arm, leg, dorsal vertebrae and broken ribs.

How the accident could happen is now examined by different authorities.
