The tents have been built once again according annual tradition. However, the future of the circus remains in doubt as its saddled with financial difficulties.
The circus still has a pending tax liability of 130,000 euros. That amount had to be paid earlier this month, but the circus is still in receivership. The circus has been given them some extra time to scrape the money together.
On September 21, there is a fundraiser for Circus Renz in Eindhoven whereby the owners hope to get enough money to repay the debt.
Tonight is the first regular show of Circus Renz in Eindhoven. The tents will remain there until 27 September.
