“A lot of wind, but no hazardous weather’

The Eindhoven region hardly experienced “dangerous weather,” which was announced earlier by KNMI. Between 16:00hrs and 17:45hrs, a strong wind whirled the city.

There was some damage when the city was hit by strong winds on Sunday afternoon. Parts of the stages of WiSH Outdoor in Beek en Donk were reportedly damaged. The stage had to be evacuated, but festival-goers were able to continue partying next to other platforms, reports Omroep Brabant.

Furthermore, in Helmond a tree collapsed onto a car and in Geldrop a canopy of a building was blown away.

On Sunday night a few more thunderstorms reached Brabant. The wind blew a lot of the last days’ tropical heat. Therefore, today, temperatures will not reach higher than 22 degrees.
