Weekly lots of foreign tourists visit Nuenen. They arrive by bus at the museum Vincentre and are coming from America, Asia and Germany to get to know Van Gogh’s life. A significant milestone for the village.
The museum is satisfied with the amount of visitors. In May this year the number of foreign visitors was even 50% of the total, according to director Simone van der Heiden.
The entrepreneurs in Nuenen also welcome the visitors from abroad. For the catering business in Nuenen for example the tourists are a big advantage.
