High-tech car ‘Nova’ embarks on promo tour

The high-tech car ‘Nova’, made by students of the TU/e, begins a promo tour throughout the Netherlands today. Earlier this month the car was presented at the Autorai in Amsterdam.

The car hit the road for the first time today. With great interest of the designers and their family, Nova drove over the asphalt for the first time.

The student team of TU/ecomotive wants to introduce as many people as possible to this first-ever modular car. This means, the car can be customized by the user.

Typical about this car is that only the driver sits in the front. The other two seats are behind the driver. The outside panels and different battery sizes can be adjusted to the owner’s own taste.

A nice extra feature is that the car weighs just 300 kg. This makes the automobile economical and environmentally friendly.
