Millions of euros for faster cycling in Eindhoven

Cycling and traveling by public transport will become easier and faster in Eindhoven. Over the next two years examinations will determine whether intersections in the city can be arranged differently or traffic lights can be better adjusted. This should contribute to the flow of traffic.

The province, the government and the municipalities reserve a total of 7.4 million euros to entice more people to leave their cars. As reported by the Eindhovens Dagblad.

The plans are a continuation of the project ‘Beter Benutten’ (better utilisation). Twelve regions in the Netherlands want to improve the accessibility by road, water and rail. In total, nationwide EUR 600 million is budgeted.
