Head coach Philip Cocu praised his team during the press conference after the hard-earned win over ADO Den Haag.
Cocu said his team showed fighting spirit after Jorrit Hendrix received a red card. In spite of the numerical disadvantage PSV never gave up.
The red card changed the game, but the team reacted well. Memphis even scored the winning goal in the 49th minute.
Cocu believed it was ‘a crucial win and a prelude to new glory’.
