Motorcyclist injured in A67 accident

On Friday evening a motorcyclist was injured after he had crashed into a van on the A67 motorway between Eindhoven and Venlo. The man was taken to hospital by ambulance.

The 50-year-old motorcyclist from Ommel drove on the A67 around half past seven when the car in front of him suddenly had to stop because of a traffic jam. The motorcyclist collided with the van in front of him, fell down and was probably also hit by a car driving behind him.

Initially, the road was completely closed, but around seven o’clock the emergency lane was opened to traffic. An emergency helicopter was also called in, which landed on the A67.
