Special ‘Breaking News’ projects are taking place this week at Summa College. The students will campaign in the city during the week about the so-called silent disasters, thus referring to big world problems which are hardly mentioned anymore in the news.
The students will try, in playful and creative ways, to bring to the public’s attention the "silent disasters". This will be done by means of a quiz or a programme about the so-called silent disasters.
This project is organised by Cross Your Borders Foundation, with the purpose of confronting the students with poverty and injustice.
