Saturday afternoon, a fatal car crash occurred on the A2, near Liempde. A 10-year-old boy and his mother, from Veldhoven, both died.
Two cars were involved in the crash, one of which burned out completely. The A2 from Eindhoven to Den Bosch was closed down the whole afternoon.
The police are still investigating the cause of the accident and are, therefore, asking for witnesses.
