PSV beat FC Twente at home

PSV showed an excellent performance, especially in the second half, and won 3-2 Saturday night.

The first half, PSV Arias opened the score in the 7th minute. It was Arias’ first goal for PSV. After 20 minutes, Locadia doubled their lead. Then, the FC Twente players made it difficult for PSV and five minutes before the break, they scored their first goal.

The PSV team played better in the second half, according to head coach Cocu. Jetro Willems restored PSV’s two-goal lead. However, it was followed by a goal from FC Twente again, who then wanted to push for the equalizer, but did not manage to score again.

The match was tense right until the end, but Cocu’s men held firm until the final whistle. PSV climb from seventh to fifth place in the table following Saturday’s win.
