Another record number of passengers at Eindhoven Airport

Royal Marshals (Marechaussee) Airport arrest Greek suspect for drug smuggling

Last year, 3.4 million passengers travelled via Eindhoven Airport. A 14 percent increase from 2012.

The airport has been growing for many years. In 2013, the growth was mainly due to an increase in the number of scheduled services from 43 to 53. Cities such as Copenhagen, Naples, Madrid and Bologna were added to the list of destinations.

The number of flights increased by almost 10 percent to more than 26,500.
The airport is expecting another 10 percent increase to 3.7 million passengers in 2014.
