NXP joins the NASDAQ-100 Index

NXP Semiconductors N.V. announced that it has been added to the NASDAQ-100 Index® by The NASDAQ Stock Market, effective with the market open on Monday, December 23, 2013.

"We are proud to become a member of such a prestigious group and be recognized as one of the 100 most valuable companies on the NASDAQ," said Rick Clemmer, CEO and President, NXP Semiconductors.

The NASDAQ-100 Index is composed of the 100 largest non-financial stocks listed on The NASDAQ Stock Market based on market capitalization. Launched in January 1985, the NASDAQ-100 Index reflects companies across major industry groups including computer hardware and software, telecommunications, retail/wholesale trade and biotechnology.
