Swimming World Cup good start

The Swimming World Cup in Eindhoven has had a good beginning.

The competitions began this morning at the Pieter van den Hoogenband swimming pool whereby the old world record for the woman’s 200 meters individual medley was broken.The Hungarian swimmer set a time of 2:04:39, which is 30 hundredths under her previous time.Ranomi Kromowidjojo also competed in the 50-meter freestyle this morning.  Her time was recorded at 23.48. With this personal record, she placed first and is through to the finals this evening at 17.30.
