Truck producer DAF is going to increase its truck production, again. The company is going to produce 202 trucks per day.
Last month, the production increased already from 164 to 184 trucks a day, according to Omroep Brabant.The increase results from a new European Union rule. A certain type of trucks is going to be more expensive starting January 1st, therefore, companies decide to acquire new trucks before that date.New people are hired, including in Eindhoven, in order to meet that demand and to be able to increase production. DAF is going to employ an extra 250 people. The new production increase starts 23 September.
