The failure of two police communication systems in Brabant, C2000 and P2000, was resolved around midnight.
The system interruption began yesterday evening due to a technical problem with a signal tower. Due to this, the fire, ambulance and police department could not communicate with each other in the usual manner.The system failure came at a very inconvenient moment because of the annual Tilburg fair whereby many police officers were patrolling the streets. They had to communicate using their mobile phones.
