Mark van Bommel has recruited ex PSVers Luc Nilis and Mateja Kezman to play on his team in his farewell match.
Van Bommel will officially retire from football on the 19th of July by means of a friendly match in the Philips stadium. Team Bommel will play against the current PSV line up from Philip Cocu.Van Bommel already recruited the keepers Ronald Waterreus and Heurelho da Silva Gomes for his one off friendly. Ex international players Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Jaap Stam are also taking part. Bert van Marwijk will support Team Bommel from the dugout. In the meantime, nearly 15.000 tickets have been sold for the match. Van Bommel will soon add morebig, international names to his team, according to PSV. The farewell duel will take place on Friday19th of July at 8pm.
