Strijp-S won the Gulden Feniks 2013 Award for the most exceptional transformation.
Every year, the National Renovation Platform awards the prize to an area that underwent the most exceptional transformation.The jury was impressed by the combination of houses and offices that can be found at the former Philips grounds.Besides Strijp S, also the renovated building MetaForum received a prize. This former W-hall (Department of Mechanical Engineering) at the TU/e won in the category ‘transformed buildings’.
