On Wednesday, 12 June 2013 there will be the opening of the new Europe Direct Information Centre in the Eindhoven Central Library. Europe Direct is a local center where you can obtain free information and publications on the EU. The Information Centre raises awareness of European Union institutions, policies, legislation, programs and funding opportunities.
The official opening of the Europe Direct Information Centre Eindhoven includes a Lecture by Andy Klom, head of the Dutch representation of the European Commission in The Netherlands, about “Why The Netherlands contributes to financing Europe” as well as a song and dance performance by the Expat group “TU/E SPOUSES GET IN TOUCH INDIGO WORLD” in the children’s theatre. After the performance you can enjoy an informal chat, and an international snack. For the young ones, there will be reading out loud in Dutch and English.
