Eight grand for TU/e scientist

Johan Hoefnagels, a scientist at the TU/e, has been awarded an 800,000 Euro subsidy for research.

The research will be done in the area of extremely stretchable electronics.   In the future, this technology will be used to control epileptic fits.  The Vidi subsidy was awarded by the Dutch organization for scientific research (NWO). They are the largest scientific financier in The Netherlands.  Vidi subsidies are awarded to excellent researchers. The scientists are some of the best in their field. Hoefnagels works at the mechanical engineering faculty.
