Town council in favour of Polish hotel

50 work migrants from Eastern Europe will take up residence in the old Graphic Design School in Gestel later this year. All parties were in favour apart from the LPF. The accommodation was necessary because many of the Polish and Romanian workforce are exploited by landlords here.

Local residents were not always in favor of the migrant workers moving into their area. They explained that the area already had enough problems, and now they expect more issues around parking. Despite this, the town councli does not think there will be a problem. Good agreements have been made in order to deal with any possible problems. The Former Graphic Design School also ha its own parking area so parking should not be an issue.
