On Friday, 01 March the Cross-linx festival will be at the Muziekgebouw in Eindhoven. Cross-linx is a festival for indie-classical that travels with musicians and their crews through five cities in the Netherlands. The festival will show a surprising combination of indie-classical music (avant-garde pop and new music).
Patrick WatsonMain act of the twelfth edition of Cross-linx is the Canadian singer-songwriter Patrick Watson. The music of Patrick Watson is often described as a mix of indie rock and classical music and is often compared to the music of artists like Rufus Wainwright, Andrew Bird en Jeff Buckley. Watson grew up in the village Hudson, near Montreal. In his youth he sang in church choirs and later he delved into jazz and classic piano music.
