DEN BOSCH – A grandfather and a father from Boxmeer and Leende have been convicted for abusing their (grand) daughter. According to the courts, in Den Bosch the child’s grandfather had been abusing the child for about 5 years. After the abuse from her grandfather, she was abused for a further year by her own father.
The abuse stopped around her 12th birthday. The courts in Den Bosch convicted the grandfather (now 80). He will serve one year with 10months on probation. The father also received a 12 month conviction with 6 months on probation. Both men have been ordered to pay a total of 7000 Euros compensation to the victim. She is 19 years old now.
