VELDHOVEN – A Veldhoven resident was caught in the act at a cafeteria on the Burgemeester van Hoofflaan Monday night.
A witness had called the owner because his cafeteria’s window was broken. The police had already been called as well. When the officers arrived, they caught a man who was trying to escape through a hole in the front door. The burglar was arrested. A cash register and a debit card terminal were found on the spot. Both had been destroyed.
