Dutch first for the TU/e

EINDHOVEN – Charging stations for electric cars were installed on the TU/e campus on Tuesday afternoon. The university is the first in the country to have them.

The charging stations will have 100% solar energy. A total of 6 units will be installed. The first station was officially opened at 16:30 in the multi media pavilion. Arno Peels, chairman of the executive board of the TU/e and Joost Helms, councillor for the environment for the city of Eindhoven said a few words.
