Friday, 29 June 2012
EINDHOVEN – VDL Group had talks on Friday evening with the joint trade unions about working conditions for the 1,500 employees of NedCar.

The unions want to prevent a deterioration of working conditions for the staff after a potential acquisition of NedCar by VDL. This was mentioned by Suat Koetloe of trade union ‘De Unie’, prior to the conversation with VDL on Friday. VDL is considering to take over NedCar from Mitsubishi, the current owner. A spokeswoman for VDL just wanted to confirm that there are discussions in general.Source: Eindhoven Dichtbij
