Lepeltje Lepeltje festival from Aug 31 – Sept 2nd

The 5th edition of the welcoming Lepeltje Lepeltje festival takes place in the Anne Frankplantsoen. It starts already on the Friday at 14.00. There are all kind of activities in the centrally located park.

The focus is on food (hence the name lepeltje lepeltje, which actually means ‘spooning’) and music. Various stands with diverse food will be available, that definitely goes beyond the usual foodtruck line-up. The music comes from, mainly, local bands and is equally diverse, as well as some DJ’s. There is a market as well, and mainly during day-time, activities for children.

The Plantsoen, or park, is quite compact, and located near the city hall on the banks of the Dommel. Normally its a quiet and relaxing place, great for a small picnic or to read a book, but that weekend its turned into a cozy get together, where every one can find something of their interest, food-wise and music wise. So lets hope the weather will be favorable and come along, at least one of these days.
