The inhabitants of central and western Blixembosch are not satisfied with the upcoming new timetable.

The CDA party in Eindhoven concludes this from its own survey. A new public transport timetable will be introduced from 15 December 2019 on.

Residents of Blixembosch-Oost are happy with it, because bus line 2 is now rushed six times per hour, instead of the current four times. The inhabitants of central Blixembosch and Blixembosch-West are worse off. They are therefore not satisfied with the changes.

Fewer buses

Bus line 2 currently runs through Blixembosch-West. It has been decided to cut this bus line and to have another bus line, line 3, run through Blixembosch-West. However, this bus line runs less frequently than the current one. The frequency goes from four times to twice per hour. In the evening this line goes to only once per hour.

Skipped stops

Residents are also concerned that the bus stops in the middle of Blixembosch, Ouverture and Garnet are no longer used by the buses. That while many people made use of these bus stops, including a large number of seniors who live in the senior complex on Ouverture. They now have to walk much longer to a bus stop. The whole center of Blixembosch now also has no boarding place.
