House prices in Eindhoven are continuing to increase sharply, with the average selling price now more than €320,000, according to figures from estate agent Van Santvoort.
The average house price in the city rose by 17% over the last year, while the national average continued to increase by 7%.
The increase has been attributed to fewer sales and a shortage in the housing market which has led to an increase in the cost of new houses.
Van Santvoort says more housing is needed to address the demand, highlighting the growth of ASML and similar companies as contributing to more and more new residents.
