Eindhoven Library now has a true ‘mobile’ library. BorrowBox is a library in one app. It is unique in that it lets public library members download and borrow English eBooks and eAudiobooks via digital loans.
BorrowBox is the only app of its kind in the world with a built-in eBook reader and eAudiobook player. This app is the brainchild of Bolinda Digital. “It is recognised as the No.1 library download platform in the world,” says a press release from Eindhoven Library. Now Library Eindhoven can offer this technology. “It rivals leading consumer brands but with far superior user experience,” reads the statement.
The library is now open 24/7, thanks to your smartphone, iPad, or computer. All you need is your Library Card No. and password. You can borrow up to five books and audiobooks. Well-known authors are included. These include Bill Bryson, Ruth Rendell, Ian McEwan, and many more. The selection of bestselling titles also expands continuously.
BorrowBox can be used online and with Apple iOS and Google Android devices. Download eBooks directly from the Eindhoven Library website or from the BorrowBox app.
