The Dutch National Sports Week begins tomorrow, 20 September. The week’s goal is to promote sport and physical activity across the country. It is aimed at everyone – from toddlers to seniors. And, of course, expats.

Expats are invited to join Eindhoven Sport, the organisers of this week in Eindhoven, at the Sports Lounge on 20 September. Join presentations, workshops, the information market, and more. You can also get acquainted with several different sports clubs, such as field hockey, soccer, badminton, swimming, gymnastics, and martial arts.

The information evening will be held at VV DBS, Sportpark Meerhoven, 109 Het Schaapsdijk from 19:00 to 21:00. If you have any questions about this event, please e-mail Ben Wiermans at b.wiermans@eindhoven.nl.

People can take part in various free clinics during National Sports Week, which will run until 29 September, too. This will allow you to get to know all manner of sports in Eindhoven. From padel to field hockey and baseball to table tennis. Please visit the Eindhoven Sport website for more information.

For those of you with young children or kids in primary school, please see the relevant sections of the website, as there are other activities available to them.
