Dutchman Vick Versteijnen and Andorrees Albert Llovera are part of Petronas Team De Rooy Iveco during Dakar 2020.

Both truckers will drive the Iveco Powerstar. Both the 34-year-old Versteijnen and the 52-year-old, paralyzed from the waist down, Llovera have already gained the necessary experience in similar races, including the Dakar Rally.

For Llovera, a Powerstar Evo3 is currently being modified in Rome, while Versteijnen will be introduced to his truck in Morocco for the first time.

Opposite the bringing in of the two new truckers is the departure of Ton van Genugten and Maurik van den Heuvel. Federico Villagra is also not participating in Dakar 2020 due to a crisis in Argentina.
